Monome 128 Issues

Hello, I have a walnut 128 monome and have a problem where half of the LEDS remain on all the time. I Don’t believe its a driver problem, i have plugged it into two different Win10 PC’s and also had the same issue when i plugged into a Mac Mini.

I opened it up and removed and reconnected the ribbon cables. But still have issues. Suspect there is a hardware issue of some kind. Please advise any other troubleshooting steps i should take.

I do have kit mk 128 which functions just fine.
