I’m sad that @dan_derks and Racquel are no longer in Chicago and that our last hang was at their wedding just a few weeks before the pandemic started, but I’m happy for him and all that he has done for monome and this community and hope for continued success for everyone. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to safely visit the Monome crew in Delhi once this is all over.

it’s been a humbling + wildly inspiring experience to be able to watch clear-hearted, deeply dedicated people manifest so much for others over the last five years – not only idiosyncratic tools full of joy and artistry, but also actual breathing, living community. i have been remarkably lucky to have interacted with so many of y’all, both at and away from keyboard. it’s such a gift to be able to measure my life by the friendships, collaborators, and family i’ve found through lines.

i am insanely grateful to be able to more directly contribute to monome and all the other manifestations of the uniquely bright + warm lights that gather around it.

thank you for sharing your positivity, energy and kindness with me
