I have a Monome 256kit and a Monome GS64.
I have two Macbook pro computers. One 15" late 2011 and one 15" late 2012

When using my patches the 256 works perfectly on both computers
When using my 64 it is rotated 90 degrees on one computer. Same patch, same monome.

Any tips? Is there a setting pr computer or something?

delete your preferences files in /Users/(you)/Library/Preferences/org.monome.serialosc/ to reset rotation.

ah perfect! found the file and indeed one of them said rotation = 90. Changed that to 0 and now we are best friends again. Thanks for the quick answer.
