I have an STO as part of my set up, and i love it, i now want to add another oscillator and have been thinking about another STO, any thoughts or experience with a 2 STO set up out there?
M. Geddes Grengras has 4x STOs with the Pitch knob removed so they are all in sync with each other.
I have two. They’re awesome little beasts. Can’t recommend having two enough. You need an external attenuator for expo FM but that’s about the only complaint I have. If I had to live with those two only I’d be happy. FM is nice
I also have two STOs and am very happy with the combo. Pairing the same VCOs is generally a good thing, I believe. The only pair I like more than the STOs are my two Dixie 2+. But not by much.
