so true, currently practicing 'acceptance of change :sparkles:

seeing more clearly now, how it’s possible to be totally accepting of 'contradicting ideas
like 'sesquialtera in the sonhuasteco
it’s 6/8 and it’s 4/4…and what? :slightly_smiling_face:

I went to a gig on the weekend with an oud player and frame drum and almost all the beats were in 10. There was a 3-2-2-3 grouping that was cool. “banana-apple-apple-banana”

I hear all the musicians happy to be playing a ‘date
and tripping on how good the rhythm section sounds
ray brown, louis bellson, oscar peterson

don’t gotta add much when it sounds so good already (to them, different era, not even be-bop, I thought the clash played it right) :slightly_smiling_face:

Some of my most loved music!
