@_mark thanks for the report - that looks scary! but I can’t reproduce it here. might have gone away with the changes that I did in the meantime. I’ve just replaced the external in the link above with the latest version, so you might try downloading it again. thanks.

Thanks, will test and report back.

Scary it was! Took some working out…

That version just worked right away.

Getting some great sounds from it! Some excerpts:

Going to sequence these into a track at some point : )

Thank you so much for doing this, it’s really nice !
I couldn’t manage to play Rings polyphonically, any hint ?

Thanks, you’re welcome!

I couldn’t manage to play Rings polyphonically, any hint ?

What do you mean exactly?
Does the polyphony method not work for you, or do you mean, you can’t use two copies of the object at the same time?

I mean the polyphony settings. But I guess I need to make my own patching to hit the Strum input for each new note. I’ll come back after a few tests !

In the meantime there are a few more objects in the collection. And - very new - some UGens for SuperCollider :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
The temporary links from above are gone, please see this short blog post for the current state of developement and download options:

Please note, this is still WIP - so be prepared for changes…

^ that has external of clouds + parasite firmware in max

Thanks for this great work built while standing on the shoulders of a giant. It’s great to have Rings with me everywhere!

And all your shared Max work is also much appreciated.

Hey @geplanteobsoleszenz,

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the plaits port, but I’m not sure how to address the V/O input and keep it in tune.

Here is what I have currently, which comes close (just midi scaled to 0-1):

But the tuning is a bit off, compared with if I unplug the signal and send the notes as Max messages.

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks

thanks @_mark - v/oct interpolation was buggy. just removed it now.
