Nature & Photography

Thank you for asking! It’s a digital photo taken on a Lumix GX85 with a vintage MC Calejnar-5H F2.8 100mm glass I sort of inherited from my dad. Processed in Lightroom.

I was sitting with a friend on a hill in the forest, facing the river. It’s a bit scary hanging out with a big camera these days, but in a natural setting I feel a bit calmer to do so.
The shot is actually rotated upside down, so the tree in the forefront is upside down, and people on the other side of the river are actually a reflection of themselves in the water. I took around 200 images, with different people passing by on foot and on bikes, but this one I liked the most.

I have a separate ig grid for photography here, so if anyone wants an album cover - hit me up, it won’t cost an arm and a leg.

Thanks! May in England means Cow Parsley and Cherry blossoms. I dug out my old EM10 as a lunchtime walk-around camera. Nearly ten years old now, but the “grainy film” setting still holds up.

I have a fascination for myxomycetes.
