I’m very grateful that after more than a decade of dreaming of owning a monome grid, i finally put in an order for one. this one will get cherished forever and ever. all i need now is the name of that song in the monome 40h video on youtube.

we have! thank you all so much for the preorders and positivity!
we started shipping mid-november preorders today — we’re still waiting on some additional boards to fill out the rest of this month’s orders, so if you didn’t get a tracking number then it means we’ll ship yours by next tuesday at the latest

yes – good q, i’ve updated my post above. we will generally stick to the most-middle tuesday of the corresponding month, so we expect to ship mid-december orders on Dec 14th
excellent, sorry to ask this here but do you happen to know on average how much time does it take to ship to canada? (montreal) becasue i’m leaving the country on the 3rd of january and i really hope i don’t miss it.
UPS + DHL are pretty quick, but I expect holidays are going to derail typical delivery expectations.

I’m excited for mine to arrive in the December batch. Does it ship with usb c-c cable so I don’t have to use an adapter with my MacBook?
As far as I remember, mine shipped with a USB-C to USB-A cable.

Not sure if this is the appropriate thread for this so feel free to move…
Running a new grid on fates (210927) and run into a few regular issues with Grid:
(1) Grid will freeze up entirely (lights frozen and keys don’t respond) but the app will continue to run and responds to local encoders.
(2) Just the lights on Grid will freeze but the app will still respond to key presses.
In both cases, disconnecting and reconnecting the Grid seems to solve it. No specific action(s) seems to cause the problem (high vs low cpu etc).
