I have an issue with my Arc - one of the encoders suddenly got less responsive than the other three. Not physically but in adjusting values. Seems as if it does not read out the movement properly anymore

Any experiences or ideas on this?

that’s unexpected. try removing the bottom and then remove the problem encoder. inspect the optical-code-disk on the bottom of the knob and clean it off with a cue-tip and water. reassemble and it should be fine. although, i can’t imagine how it’d get dirty.

I could not see anything on the encoder, cleaned it anyway and its working again - that was an easy fix, Thanks!

I once had a panic when my arc got knocked to the floor from its usual desk-height perch, and one of the knobs stopped working. After opening the arc up and disassembling/reassembling the faulty knob assembly, everything worked perfectly once again (it just needed some tightening in the end) and I came away just super impressed with the design of the thing. What a work of art. Thanks @tehn!
