just so y’all know, serialosc.maxpat and serialosc.js are included in the max 7 distribution now-- so it should be super easy to set up. might be broken-ish with old installs.

thanks for the answer.
Do you see any chance for a fix?
I like the new functions a lot, but without a proper sync it is not useful for me

will be fixed today or tomorrow

So this new version is amazing, more playable, clearer, more direct. Love it.
Just wished it would recall its previous state after powering off.

Also, any way to rotate with 180° angle the monome ? I’d love to leave the monome vertically and watch the snow fall.

Agreed!

Well honestly, I never connected to the old MP. But this quickly sold me on the module!
I just recently decided I needed more triggers anyway and am super happy now I never got around buying the qcd. monome power! and the right buddy for my new tt of course.

With the max version though, I think I experienced some timing glitches. Might be a javascript in max low priority issue? Anyone else? (Recent MBP running here)

sounds stupid, but turn the monome around? since 8x16 steps, no easy undertaking.

The usb cable makes it impossible.

I wouldn’t mind having “SOMETIMES IT’S BETTER TO LISTEN THAN CONSTANTLY TOUCH EVERYTHING” on a T-shirt.

Yeah that ending is great. You can see the hand “peek” like, “should I do something?”, then “nope”.

very in line with your improv analysis. i’m been dying to find time to do one for you.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. That moment of reflection/decision.

I look forward to it! (Just setup a session with Jay for some juggling improv analysis, excited about seeing that).

really neat video!

how will this work in the eurorack version?

presuming you want an option for all the cascading triggers hitting the same env or LPG or whatever. do you need to mix or otherwise sum to various triggers external to the device?

or is there a “sum” output on the device? like maybe re-purposing the clock output as a trigger mix?

the summing can happen internally. that’s the route trigger/gate section. any row can affect any output.

max patch and eurorack are identical. max version has outputs hard-routed to a note map.

Ah! Of course. Great work. Looks really fun

new version for the euro mp:

fixes sync via ii issue. works perfectly now.

working on that documentation now…

Same here about an Aleph version: it would be absolutely awesome!

I tried the new meadowphysics (max version) with my monobright monome and even if i don’t get the led feedback () this is really really good ! and i don’t know if any body had this issue but when i use a plugin (Aalto) the overall timing seems to be a little funky with the plugin window opened. The timing work straight again when i close the window. i quite like the funky clock actualy !

@tehn Any chance of a M4L version of this?
