My wife and I do a Mistobox subscription. We review the coffees that they send us, and that shapes their next selection for us.

Our preferred poison is anything from the Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia. We grind our coffee every morning and French press it.

African coffees are the bomb

I do love Turkish coffee. And French Press coffee. And Chemex pour-over drip coffee. And espresso coffee. And I do love my burr grinder, and the filtered water, and the warmed carafe, and good neighbors who roast their own coffee and let me know when they get the good stuff and I can quit Any Time I Want.

I’d totally try that, and I also love Yirgacheffe coffees and french press. Do you have a referral link or anything to get any sort of freebies if I (or any of the rest of us) sign up?

Looks like I do! $10 off: http://mbox.coffee/WNQE

The wackiest discovery I’ve had so far is Greenway Coffee. I received a shipping notification and received my coffee a few hours later. The shipping label was a mile down the street from me. It ended up being one of the three best bags of coffee we have ever had (Guatamala San Josue). It was quite difficult finding the place, as their main storefront is in a food court in a massive office building complex in Houston. Their barista was absolutely shocked that we had found them through the box.

I think Noble Coffee and Ruby are the other best two roasters we’ve tried.

Seems like it’s the week for new things. Haken Audio just announced their ContinuuMini, and the Superbooth teasers are coming thick and fast.

Between the shakedown tour for norns, introducing (and shaking down) crows, having fun with w/ (see what I did there) firmware revisions, manufacturing … 2020 seems very reasonable. Stay healthy, have fun, let me/us know how we can help.

I miss you guys. Things just aren’t the same after the norns launch.
