out the box, these are all about audio signals at control rates – they work beautifully with DC-coupled audio interfaces, but crow is rooted in converting data into control.
this difference allows for really idiosyncratic expressions – the artist can script their own envelope shapes, evolving behaviors, sequencing paradigms, etc etc. but also, this means that you can just plop the [^^dual] or [^^jf] or [^^outs] after any existing M4L sequencer (edit: or any MIDI generator in Live) and instantly translate the MIDI to CV or i2c. there’s a crow update in the queue that opens up some new (gorgeous) CV envelope shapes, which will make their way into the [^^dual] and [^^outs] devices.
