new disk image is in the top post. confirmed working with CM3+

Wunderbar!

Does this need an additional step to make full use of the extra disk space, or does the full disk image take care of that as well?

this is sort of a meta norns post, but would it be beneficial to set up the full image download using bittorrent? I know I wouldn’t mind seeding if it helped ease bandwith issues.

I can probably host it in my G-Drive as well. If needed.

There’s no automatic “expansion” at the moment, but the steps are pretty simple Norns 2.0 beta

has anyone updated the Haven script of Lfsaw to 2.0 version?

Oh yeah! I’d love to use it again! @LFSaw do you plan to update it?

(in case you’d like to sponsor a norns for further development, i am happy to provide you with my postal address :stuck_out_tongue: )

I can update Haven. I believe I get the time later today.

Would you be OK with moving haven to it’s own repo? We’re trying to move all scripts and engines out of the we repo.

sure, whatever it takes

Haven was really simple, just required a oneliner fix for reverb input level. FYI, I posted an updated version as a gist here: https://gist.github.com/antonhornquist/83f074dfa5b27478895cc9a776cc7518

(hope that’s okay)

…the engine is already included in the we repo.

if you could tell me what needs to be done, i am happy to set up the repo accordingly in my github account and would then accept PRs.

I’ll send you a PM

ok…also midi params are unresponsive… doesi t only sample when the rate is around 1? thanks

I installed the CM3+ and got the image onto Norns fine, it boots fine, I did not break anything as well. Yay!!!

However I am lost with how to expand the disc usage of CM3+
What does this mean:

"to expand disk

sudo raspi-config

advanced > expand disk

reboot"

How do I do this? With the switch set to disk or to run?

I tried and I got an sudo: raspi-config: command not found

Thanks for helping me with this last step again.

(A few minor steps were missing in the scattered information, eg I did not have wget installed and needed to run brew install wget, also I had to run tar xzf norns190405.tgz to get the image file as I simply guess that .tgz would not be a valid file for an image)

Should be similar to this article, although I haven’t personally done it on Norns:

Are you saying that running running ‘sudo raspi-config’ via command line gives you that message?

Connect Norns to the internet.
Note your Norns ip address.
On your computer, I assume it’s a mac, open a terminal.
Type ssh we@(your norns ip address)
The password will be sleep.
You should now be connected to Norns!
run sudo raspi-config etc…

Hope this helps!
