Am really loving 2.0 so far. Great new (to me) patches and big stability improvements! I am missing me some Cranes though

Oooops. I think I got it right now.

softcut.level_slew_time(voice, value)

it worked. awesome. thank you.

Is this managed through terminal and the ssh client? I’d really like to learn this process for further updating rather than downloading and then manually dropping files in Cyberduck.

Would be really cool if someone in the community might be willing to make a short video showing how to manage this

Almost have it figured out. I’ve ssh’d through terminal into Norns following the Norns doc. When I tried to send the command to pull I don’t think I entered the correct command. I ran “git pull ~dust/code/ash” and it told me “not a git repository”

cd ~/dust/code
git clone https://github.com/tehn/ash.git

Thank you. Sorry to clutter up the thread with that.

Librarian is awesome! Great idea/work

Any chance of hello_ack getting ported over?

I finally took time to discover 2.0 and I wanted to tell all of the incredible people who worked on it, who upgraded their scripts for it, who helped with documenting and beta testing, a huge, warm and repeated THANK YOU.

Norns feels, trully, like having a small living breathing vibrating ecosystem in the palm of my hand. It’s probably one of the most invaluable piece of gear I’ve owned, not only for how it looks and feel, but for the story it’s telling me when I turn it on.

It’s, as weird as it might sound, a comforting machine, as it both allows me to think (of the reasonings behind every script, every choice made by the community members), and to let go.

Thank you again.

Hi. I can update this for 2.0 (hope I get the time later today)

So trying to update to 2.0 and selecting Update in the menu doesn’t do anything, ideas? The new FW is installed on the USB stick at the root. :frowning:

update: when I hit update the norns somehow freezes (encoders 1 2 3 and knob 2-3 have no effects) until I hit the button 1

getting an error with trying to load less-concepts with librarian

I printed links_to_git on load and looks like the parse is not picking up the git url due to formatting or text before the link? (and thus the git link is empty for less-concepts)

lua:

Currently, it parsing topic page for github link with .zip ending
I’ve wrote to @speakerdamage already. There was the same problem with Uhf
Also using github link to archive seems to be more convenient - you dont need to re-upload zip each script update

Update was smooth. Feels much more polished. Well done everyone involved.

Aha
Less concepts is using a pretty funky looking link for the .zip

Great work! I had the same in mind when I wrote down those endpoints (what weirdly got deleted).
You may want to filter for the norns tag too (forgive me if I overlooked it)
