Norns + 2 x 128's = 256?

hello! i searched the forum and read the documentation on monome.org but couldn’t find an answer so far-

is there something native built into the norns general OS that lets me connect 2 x 128 grids and use them as 1 x 256 grid? or is this something i need to configure in a script by script basis… as in, the coding to do this would be in the script and not the norns system itself?

afaik this does not exist yet, but could be done transparently by creating a MOD (would require some coding with knowledge of the inner guts)— perhaps someone has tried it already?

I’m also interested in this functionality. But I would like to combine 2 monome 64s into a monobright 128. :eyes:
