sure. IIRC luarocks is installed by deafult (nope, i did not RC). currently if you want to stay distributable i guess you would want to point luarocks at the local script directory. (with --tree)

Penlight is the one that has come up. but fnutils looks like a strong candidate and i like that Hammerspoonās libs are so focused and modular (albeit many are osx-specific.) (iām wary of kitchen-sink libraries hiding performance pitfalls.)
not that i know of. REPL integration is via websocket by way of nanomsg. itās not hard to make a new client, but where iāve stopped short of doing a ādemoā of this is in actually replacing the maiden connections. (itās a simple pair socket; maybe some more complex topology is needed.)
