I’ve been putting off the Norns studies for a while. But today I pleasantly discovered first light. In fact, today was the first time I did anything more than plug a midi keyboard into molly the poly. I honestly don’t know why I waited so long.

yes! feels a lot like the teletype studies, which were great for my non-programmer skillset. qq - is there anything similar to cmd-. in supercollider when working in maiden? say i accidentally set the feedback level above 1 and want to kill everything quickly.

I’ve read through the tutorial, and had a little play with first light but haven’t done anything more with the code than my usual one trick! Hoping to find more time in the next few days to dig a bit deeper.

I think there’s a typo in the docs where it says param:set('clock_tempo',50) I believe it should be params:set('clock_tempo',50).

Thanks for the great example! I was bugged down by the thought of building huge scripts from the ground up so getting this wake-up call was really inspirational.
