To use SMB network sharing on Windows 10, I had to do the following:
Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features > Turn windows features on or off, and turn on the SMB features. Reboot.
The norns.local share is available at \\norns.local, not smb:\\norns.local
I’m not able to map the \\norns.local address for some reason, but otherwise the feature seems to work well, dragging the folder to the quick access list in explorer is kind of the same thing.
