Strange Stage

It is currently very casual and fairly small. The music is runs from weird electro-acoustic ensembles to acapella noise experimentation but leans heavily towards electronic. It is a good place to test out new material or build up your skills in front of an accepting audience.

Symposium happening at the New School this weekend. I’ll be demoing some of the generative music I’ve been making on the Norns on Saturday.

Parsons Algorave Studio x Commend

So cool to see two Parsons Collab final presentations in this thread! I suppose it makes sense there’d be an overlap between the Parsons DT community and Lines. Anyone teaching there in the fall should PM me.

A new and occasional improvised music series dedicated to fostering group electro-acoustic improvisation in varying combinations.

The purpose of this series is to encourage the development of emergent musical languages through the exploration of real-time group dynamics, and to foster a healthy amount of irreverence for the cult status of the solo artist. No solo sets. Artists that play together stay together!
