I think you need to need to log into terminal as administrator with a sudo and then unmount / remount the drive to be able to write to it:

Serialosc/monome with Organelle?

open the termainal type sudo mount -o remount, rw / [enter] Then copy all the files to where the instal.sh says they should go

Im trying to follow the above to get the grid working on my organellem but can’t even ssh into my organelle. Can I ssh into my organelle when it is connected to my wifi network or do I need to have my computer connected to the organelles wifi network? Ive tried ssh into organelle through Cyberduck but organelle doesn’t seem to be working for me as the password using root as the user name.

Yes can use ssh over WiFi

Are you using an organelle-m , if so you need to ssh in with the user ‘music’
( you use root on the organelle-1)

after pasting your first line I’m getting this

cp: cannot stat '/sdcard/Patches/Monome/SerialOSC-Installer/lib/monome': No such file or directory

I did go in and create the extra folders to match the file structure and now im even more confused
