Yes it did and it worked well. Ultimately I just found myself not using the module much with Hemisphere - I missed the apps I was more regularly patching with. That being said I did love the Captain Midi app when I briefly used it.

I totally agree with you on Quantermain, the depth is really appealing. I only really use that, Low-rents and on rare occasions Meta-Q - which is why I reverted completely to the stock firmware. Its funny because the principle of Hemisphere is really tempting. I’m using the 14hp module and have entertained switching to 2x uO_C so I could use those two apps the same time.

out of interest, what are you using in the Hemisphere suite that you enjoy/recommend? I realise I didn’t spend a huge deal of time with it and would have missed the rewards that come with greater familiarity.

split mode on u_oC sounds totally nightmarish to me

i basically use oC as a quantermain box. i like that there are other functions to be sure but its great to just save my settings in quantermain for boot and not have to mess with it really at all save for some transposition/active notes tweaks here and there

I really like the clock divide and skip applets the best. I might wind up with a Branches at some point instead.

I use voltages and the tuner if I need to calibrate something.

This is how I’ve been using it as well so far. I really like the built in Turing Machines on that mode. Adds a ton of functionality. I’ll mess with Copier Maschine and the chord modes sometimes as well but its always on melodic duties for me.

I recommend the Temps Utile for this case, with clock mult/divide and random skip chance on every channel.

I’m also using Quantermain almost all the time. The other modes are great too but Quantermain is so useful and straightforward I always want it on hand.

i just got mine last week, mostly to run quantermain, and am going to focus on that for awhile. Everything else is just bonus funtimes if im ever in the mood to experiment (which is often).

Finally ordered the last of the parts I need to build mine from the PCB and panel i was kindly given some time ago. Looks fairly daunting but I can do it

Just came across these super handy PDF guides for Hemisphere Suite. One designed for tablet viewing, the other two for printing out a nice little booklet.

I really love Viznut Cracker! In audio and sub audio ranges its digital binary weirdness is addicting.
