i just got a new BAM in the mail from Schneidersladen, but much to my consternation they sent a EU PSU - I’m in the states. Anyone have any suggestions on getting the correct adaptor piece for it?

It would be pretty natural to receive an EU adapter from a European retailer. Any travel adapter will do, and DC supplies typically don’t care about voltage so you should be all set. Equally likely to work with another DC supply provided that you check polarity.

Worth the minor inconvenience for a wonderful unit.

P.s. I think those units used to come with modular adaptors, can anyone else confirm?

neither my Bam nor my Boum came w/ modular power supplies. I do love when things do though. It makes it extra handy when touring international… not that i’m doing any of that anymore :sweat:

I ordered THIS pack of oem parts to fit the OTO power supply. The euro to NA adapters I found were too bulky.

The BAM adapter does accept different plugs, but sadly, OTO doesn’t include plugs for all countries. I got my BAM from Signal Sounds and it only came with European plugs, but they were nice enough to include (3rd party) adapters with my BIM and BOUM. With all three, I switched to a 12V brick power supply and barrel adapter splitter–it’s much cleaner.

Bought mine from signal sounds and had the same problem - this is the exact part I also bought from Digikey so you’re good!
