My recollection is that when miRack first came out, Andrew said some neutral to positive things about it on the official Rack Facebook group, but then all of this apparently unfolded, and the relationship between the two developers soured. (I am inclined, as you are, to see it from Andrewâs point of view.)
Regarding the iOS version, when Andrew spoke at CCRMA (at Stanford) recently, he said it just wasnât a priority due to the time and expense. Maybe those are related to Apples licensing, and to the more closed nature of the ecosystem. Iâm not really sure. Iâd like to know more.
I love VCV Rack on my Windows machine, which has a touchscreen. Itâs not perfect, but itâs useful.
