Oh yeah! This is just super, here’s one thing I recorded pretty much immediately after I got the second voice running:

Sounds incredible! :fire:

v1.0.1 released!

Thanks to @cosmicsoundexplorer, Patchwork now has an awesome third output mode: crow outs + ii jf. In this mode, sequence A is sent to crow outputs 1+2, while sequence B is sent to Just Friends operating in note mode for “polyphonically allocated note sequencing.” Crow outputs 3 and 4 don’t go unsued, though – they both send random voltages between 0-5v, at the rate you have set by your incoming triggers. See top post for a more detailed run-through of all output modes.

In the param menu, there is now also an option to select a root note, which works across all output modes.

I wish that sound demo was longer! Started it, and then kinda spaced out and began doing something else and changed to another tab. Really enjoyed it until it got prematurely cut off!

Great script! Wish I have a grid!
@Olivier I’m curious if you named the script after this classic track:

Sure did. One of my absolute favorite records.

I was trying to find a name related to Twin Peaks: The Return, but - clearly - that didn’t work out. Next time.

Wow! Just been playing aorund with crow and your scrip, clap clap!
Specially with just friends!
Any idea if we would be able to sync it to crow clock in?
Thanks

Glad you’re enjoying it!

Patchwork’s two sequences are clocked by sending triggers to crow inputs 1 + 2 – are you perhaps referencing another script? Keep in mind that I just got back from a long run, and my tired brain may not be processing your question properly

Thanks for the reply @Olivier.
Yes im sending a clock signal from my expert sleepers out into the ins on crow.
Have tried both inputs with no luck.
Wondering if crow needs a specific type of analog clock?
I just updated crow and made sure it was working with druid, and max 4 live crow devices.
I think it could be something to do with fates ir diy monome grid @okyeron?
Thanks!

I have factory norns and grid but had the same problem attempting to clock from teletype…have not yet taken much time to troubleshoot

really hope i can get things working soon

Dang - I’m sorry to hear you’re both having issues. The input problems always leave me confused because they’re intermittent  @glia I actually used TT and TXo for clocking while developing the script, so this is extra strange. I did always have very short trigger times, though - 5ms to 10ms.

Though they’re both fired at init, maybe try crow.clear() or crow.reset() again from Maiden? My (factory) norns is in the shop this week getting its encoders fixed – I’ll take another look at this when it comes back.

Havent tried that!
Will let you know how it goes, cheers!

@glia @thopa – If you’re willing to make a modification to the script, I’d be really curious to know if tweaking lines 173 and 175 fixes the issue for you. Right now, they’re set as follows:

173: crow.input[1].mode("change", 1.0, 0.25, "rising")
175: crow.input[2].mode("change", 1.0, 0.25, "rising")

Maybe try changing the 0.25s to 0.05?

Will do

Sorry to worry you I had planned to try some tweaks and dm at some point

Just commented cause i didnt want thopa to think the issue was their diy gear

Has this been submitted to maiden yet?

Oh, good call. I haven’t submitted anything yet, and I’m generally bad at git, but I’ll figure it out!

EDIT: This is now available in Maiden’s project manager
