Getting settled in Madrid. Made a little oasis of my home away from home.
small world - I was chatting to @pirxthepilot about them for using the CIrcuit to sequence Euro with…
How’s the scratching coming along?
Was going well until the move. I brought my PT-01 with me to Madrid but I don’t have an external speaker, and it’s too quiet to scratch through headphones unfortunately. I still practice a bit, doing some faderless stuff using the built in speaker, but it’s not quite the same.
I’ll probably buy a bluetooth speaker (with an aux in) so I can practice with it, as well as use it as a general ‘around the house’ speaker.
oblig pic (with @Angela):
Yep - any bluetooth speaker would be fine. One of those Jambox things would work well.
Eagerly awaited USPS today. Was not disappointed
Also, leftover fireworks.
Obligatory in-the-case-picture:
is that a DIY ripples?
Yup. @lijnenspel turned me onto the whole Mutable DIY thing. I’ve also built a Rings and a Clouds but gave them away as gifts!
Edit: Since this is the pictures thread…
small case: 6 envelopes + 4 LFOs + 6 sequencers + 20 gates/triggers …which also happens to be an 8 voice drum machine and a 6 voice synth. all controllable from teletype.
I messed around with it a bunch - it sounds really really good. But haven’t used it for any official projects.
I loved your blog btw, wish there was more stuff there.
I’m really liking the Polaroids on your posts.
Daughter is getting into aliens. I’m loving her work, better than me at drawing already!!

ha, no fancy unit… just a pedal board to keep cables + power supplies tidy underneath. (and easy to throw it all in a bag quickly for live shows)
