Momentous day today. Finally got done rewiring my studio. Took me almost two weeks. And WAY more cables than I was anticipating. Finally got every instrument/synth/drum machine into my patchbays. Now I can never move. I’ll spare you the behind the rack pic.

Thanks - the C64 has a MIDI cartridge inserted in its expansion port. Additionally, you can sync the C64 with the modular system via a defMON sync adapter.

Great setup! I connected a joystick switcher for protection (you can actually damage the C64 when switching joysticks while it‘s on). You can use paddle controllers for MSSIAH (Acid Bassline) and Cynthcart for modulating parameters while playing.

Thanks! The switch is a smart thing, great tip! I have the paddles too, but they need maintenance as they make parameters jump all over the place. I mainly use the Mono Synth of MSSIAH. So you gave me a nice reminder to check out the Acid Baseline again. I got a new power supply, as a friend now has some serious trouble with one of his C64’s after a power issue.

Most C64’s I come across nowadays are behind glass/on shelves as geeky reminders of the past. It brings a smile to my face seeing your C64 in good use. Keep it up!
