This is a wonderfully opinionated setup.

Everything that makes sounds, basically.

@tardisc
It’s a Grau Modular pocket case. Had it for over a year now and really like it.

I need to hear it :slight_smile:

how is it cramming 52hp into it? (or is it custom rather than the 51hp listed on their website)?

It is 51hp (or maybe 51.5). There is a metal frame that holds the rails which determines the width. So if you place modules on the sides that have a little space underneath their plate, like eg Disting or Fxdf, you can squeeze in 52hp. But I’m not sure if this goes for all pocket cases.

My other case from them is 78hp, but in reality is only 77.5hp. So you probably need to have the case infront of you to really plan how you set it up.

I like it! How much? How your xprecience with the delivery? Thanks

Is the case plywood (do you know the weight?)?

I think it’s best if you get in touch with Grau Modular directly. I don’t know if their prices changed in the meantime. Also, they now have different power options.

The cases are made out of wood and tolex. No clue if it’s plywood. And I also don’t know the empty weight. More on the light side, I’d say. The cases are handmade and of fantastic quality, some of the most well made things I ever had. Well packaged, too.

I finally started assembling my music easel clone after months of getting parts and preparing.

Hey all, two pictures from my studio, 8 years apart.

September 2011, after just moving to Asia from Europe. First shaky steps toward re-building my old studio. (sold all my gear before the move)

February 2019, almost 8 years in the making and still under construction :smiley:

As always, these things are in a continual state of flux… but this is the last photo I can share of my little studio space after the last round of synth-tetris…

I’m planning a fairly substantial shift around soon to make room for a couple of new additions (Digitone, Minilogue XD) and couple of things planned for the near future which I can’t talk about yet… :slight_smile:

Lines should do kickstarter of a module with integrated houseplant or perhaps a case full of nothing but shiitake mushrooms. Could have some piezos inside so one can listen to the almost inaudible growth process.
