if it’s got metal strings, it’s a goer.

didn’t realize the ND had trig inputs. Dang that looks like a fun “little” setup.

So, I got me an Isms. Taking the plunge into Eurorack. Really loving the monome and mannequin modules.

Though, I can already tell I need more attenuverters. Very useful to modify patches as they go.

Recorded Week 20 of my weeklybeats project with the patch connected. Can be listened to at http://weeklybeats.com/#/eleventhstage/music/beckoning if anyone is interested.

yes! i almost brought up the wond in my caveats to using an ebow. the wond seems actually designed for expressiveness, and playability on nonstandard strings, or even nonstring surfaces–i think i saw it used on a metallophone of some kind. and as you said, it doesn’t sit crookedly on spaces that differ from guitar strings. it’s more than twice as expensive as an ebow, though…assuming it can be found at all. i think only the kickstarter backers have it.

That is cool as shit. Signed up for the newsletter to find out when the next run is.

I don’t use my ebow(s?) very much, but I have a Fernandez sustainer built into my main electric and find it useful in that kind of setup/configuration. The moog guitar is definitely a great extension of that idea.

I’ve nearly outgrown my 3U84 eurorack, so have broken ground on its replacement: a 7U84, using the original skiff’s Vector rails for some 1U utilities, and four secondhand z-rails from a friendly lines-ite as the primary racks.

From CAD:

to my dining table:

and though I designed it as a swoopy tabletop case, I made sure it’d balance vertically too:

The 1U rails are currently in use and thus yet to be added.

Won’t have time to populate it and finish the fit-out til after this project is done, but I’m pretty pleased with the conceit.

(of course, it means I also now have CAD files for Vector and Z-Rails should anybody need them).

Love the CT5 - mine is paired with an EHX Freeze.

We used a 7 speaker setup angled at the walls to get more of the rooms reflections than direct sound. It is great to hear it in the different venues we are performing at as they all sound different.

Hi, I live in Copenhagen. Anyway I could come and see the show? Where is it going to happen, and when?

The setup expanded, and it looks better than that now (I removed the grid from the pedalboard, and replaced it with a Red Panda Particle, plus I made a 5 switches pedal which controls both the Aleph and the Eventide H9). The mixing link allows me to use a microphone and a guitar or analog synth plugged at the same time, and sent to an FX loop (to the Particle), eventually, before going out to the Aleph. So it is mostly the way in to the Aleph now, and its preamp sounds better anyway (I still use the Aleph’s pres though).

Hi. Playing in 30 mins or this Friday the 3rd at 20:00 and Saturday the 4th at 16:00 at the Dansehallerne main stage. Or we could meet for a coffee at some point if you have the time.

I highly recommend the Wond! It’s expensive but well worth it.

I am also playing at the theatre on Saturday and Sunday, at Betty Nansen, with an Aleph and 4 actors. Maybe I can come on Friday, at least I will try after the rehearsals! Do you live in Copenhagen?

Played chiptune at a local Comicon this weekend. it was superfun.

May I ask what your preferred method of chiptuning is? I see them DMG’s on the table. What are you running on them and/or do you dabble in any other forms?
