Need to find some batteries for it.

MIDI control? How does that work?

I bought a mod kit from a company called Highly Liquid, many years ago. They don’t sell them anymore, unfortunately.

Yes and yes. I employ a “whatever works” approach: straight recordings made in situ onto tape (no external mics) // iPhone voice memo recordings mulched in iDensity // field recordings made with the iPad that go through borderlands granular then dumped to tape // play tapes through the tiny speaker into the tiny mic on my phone/ipad and process in borderlands/iDensity // two tape players playing and one recording—- endless lo-fi possibilities!

Trying to make do with one desk for both wfh and music, and while it’s been less than ideal, It’s always nice to be able to make your own ambient tones to work to.

Imagining a wannabe plumbutter that wants to be a Gongue and Rolz! Waiting for some rails and a few other things…

I’ve been wondering what the “definitive” Mannequins rig would look like. This is pretty damn close to what I imagined!

Would love to hear this rig, please.

Always a fan of fellow tape fixing work around folks. Best rack I have seen in a while.

Testing another setup…ipad clocking modular (covariant) with an es3, grids into befaco cv to midi, and triggering a drum machine inside aum on the ipad…fun fun fun

thats a lot of uGrids! What is the max number you used at once? Did they stay in sync?

Heres a round up of my DIY (mostly CL) efforts and a few pre-built comrades.
First shot, top to bottom, is MQ Rollz5+ w Pugix mods, 2 Dogvoice w/ Swoopspokes and 5 Star Brain, Mroztronium Horndog w mods, CL Spikering ( lil yellow box), Tetrazzisidrazziasi, CT5.
Second shot is double rollz5 paper circuit wall piece, MQ DDDmkii, PB1, a few euro bits ,DK and uTone.

Hi! it’s 4 grids in euclidean mode, they can be all synced with the right settings. just share clock and reset signals. Grids is one of my favourite euro modules. I still prefer the original big ones, but this small ugrids are fun to play with

Fixed up my Spectrums with new keyboard membranes, ready for some 1bit noise. Also tweaked the colour trimmer pots in one of them since, as vaporwave as it looks, this isn’t really practical:

Latest layout of my Mantis case. Morph is at top left so’s I feel more inclined to use it as a “voice” rather than an effect. Same goes for my Rings clone. Then, in general, I have sound sources and sound modifiers at the top, sequencing and cv modulation on the bottom row.

The goal of this case is to focus on learning Morph, Maths and Rene, by making weird and perhaps occasionally beautiful noises that I capture and then use to fill up the Radio Music and 2X Pico drums, which I then use to make more weird noises.

** edit - - is that too much info for this thread? If so, happy to move it to the eurrack thread.

How/where did you get those silver panels for the Pico Drums?
