The mixer! It’s actually quite a huge addition! Damn TPV2 looks more and more like an absolute beast.

in all of that gear why am i most excited by your collection of mallets?

seems you have some just for friction properties if i recall from past video performances…

foot controllers seem to play an important role here. there is at least one in every setup.
how do you guys use them?

Yeah there’s some superball mallets I made a few years ago. Don’t actually use them too much these days but they are in my ‘bag-o-tricks’. Took forever to make them too, or rather, took longer than one would think. The bodies are filed down hacksaw blades with epoxied twine as the handles:

All of us are programmers so it varies from day to day. I think most are using them as a combination of present/mode switching between “scenes”, as well as “NOW” type buttons (record/play/etc…)

I finished up a DIY really slick/compact USB footswitch which I’ll post pictures up once I finish up the Sugru-ing.

here’s a not-so-slick diy footswitch and also my main ‘controller’ computer (beaglebone black)

Yup, that’s masking tape over the second set of midi ports, which are currently borked…

pretty sure this setup will never be ‘giggable’ unless I fill the whole pizza-box-size contraption with potting compound!

Are they DIY?

nay. just got 'em from control

Same, but mine are purple! Part of me wishes the MP triggers were internally routed to TT, but the other part of me thinks those little cables are too cute.
