First post! Been lurking for a bit, this place and all of you are so awesome. Really utilizing the resources here for my series version of the grid256, dated but beautiful and I’m making tons of progress. Its all such a head full. Love it. Now starting out on the new ARC4 and Ansible. So much to learn! Anyway wanted to show you all what I’m working with, I manage to coax some magnificently beautiful music out of all this. Hope to share sounds in the relatively near future.

it’s a TRS MIDI converter cable with a floating Tip like it’s used in Chase Bliss pedals. It’s really bonkers how many weird iterations there are for MIDI that itself is a 40 y old standard and you would think it’s settled. Just counted the other day 6 different version in my tiny living-room studio. Some of them can talk to others, some need a specific cable, some require converter, some more elaborate witchcraft. There also is no existing comprehensive converter translating all of them.

Just got word my Vitsoe shelving unit won’t arrive for at least another 2 weeks. I’ve been waiting forever for it. I’m tired of sitting on the floor in my room so I finally made the move to the living room today.
