I know that modded Casio! Is one of the first hacky instruments videos that led me to this synthesyzer madness world a lot of Years ago when i was a death metal bassist. Thank you for doing that! The concertodrone!
I’m not sure if I should be proud of that or feel guilty But jokes apart, thanks a lot for letting me know! It fills me with joy to know that something I’ve made is inspiring to somebody!
Listening to ice crack as it forms in northern Minnesota.
That looks like heaven.
those are sometimes my favorite samples
to hear this noiz circuit…please look here:
a pretty serious drum solo care of orca and a pma-5
Note to self: plug in the PMA-5 again soon. I made a track a few years ago using it to sequence an external synth and it was useful, but maybe I need to go the other direction for some General MIDI revivalism…
that Toughbook is so sick, do I need Windows…?? I assume you can load linux.
i’m running antix on this one, but it came with xp, a very good windows. it’s 32 bit, so there are limits in distro options.
My most recent software assembly – does not produce any sound by itself though, just MIDI or CV… work in progress…
My favourite instrument.
Oh my that looks like a seriously fun system. Nice blending in with the Doepfer and Ladik there
Thanks Noisetrees. I had to squeeze in some more functionality in that case. Doepfer and ladik had to be pimped a bit.
finally, I made a video of the instrument:
wooden boats & kites!!! keep on sailing!!!
beautiful! sounds like something an ent would sing.
mini Orca Pi.
This is incredibly beautiful!
Thanks for all the kind words
The rather strange shape was chosen because it was premiered in a larger concert where the instruments of the different works appear and disappear before and after the performance. The Structure was hanged from a crane…
