Experiments in esoteric midi control. The iungo seems promising but the manual is terrible. Starting to figure it out. The weird midi IR theremin box I bought years ago on eBay, going to turn it into a module I think, the circuit inside is tiny and I hope to hack CV/gate out of it somehow depending on how the sensor works

Beautiful and very inspiring to pick mine up again

I don’t have Norns. I assume that’s the editor on screen?

Appears to be the Helm soft synth.

Even more minimal setup, but still quite powerful.

What is that format jumbler?

Ditto: very cool format jumbler. I’ve been trying to obtain a more vanilla version from Low-Gain Electronics, but Logan (who doesn’t like a nice pun) who manufactures them has been busy.

A friend made it for me. Very useful. I asked for attenuators, and they make a world of difference. Highly recommended.

I also have a smaller 2-channel one, which is handy as well :sunglasses:

@corpusjonsey built a very sturdy one for me a bit ago at a reasonable price. Highly recommend if he’s still making them.

Nice job! I’m looking for more of a stand-alone jumbler, though. I like the “Let me out!” part.

Really happy with this current setup - finally feels coherent.

I live in a small apartment where space is tight, so it’s nice how quick & easy it is to set up in the kitchen or pack it all up

About a month ago I came across a portable wine bar at Goodwill (not really sure what you’d call it, but a box that holds a couple bottles of wine and booze tools). Thought it would make an awesome synth case so I picked it up and started plans. It turned out to be exactly the right size for a 7u 42hp system! I gutted it and just now finished screwing in the hardware and it looks awesome!

I still need to do a final cleaning of the inside as there’s some bits of glue and foam clinging to it, and then I want to line the inside of the lid with some nice paper. Not sure yet if I’ll do a mounted PSU or a power module. But I’m either going to make it a dedicated sequencer or a complex synth voice that I can control from my Digitakt. Can’t wait to see it full of modules!
