Ooh that looks nice!
Curious about your spring and prong doo-dads… did you make them yourself?

reorganized the space over the weekend- added a new table for the Juno and to give the modular and RYTM some breathing room. absolutely loving the feel so far. about time to really dive in to writing. in a perfect world the weights wouldn’t be there but I’ve been much more consistent using them by having them within arms reach of the place where I spend all my time.

I finally put together a new case this weekend! Continuing to focus. Excited to get @TomWhitwell’s startup in here to replace the noise reap LFO which is serving as a placeholder!

update (yeah, I put the marbles back in!):

Nice! Now I know what to do with all the hammond enclosures I have tucked away in a drawer. Thanks for the link.

Just a quick note to say that I enjoyed your performance at the afterparty. The sound of the bowed prongs was really cool.

Ah, thanks very much! I didn’t realise there were any lines folks there.

@Rhialto for sure, I’ll definitely take you up on that next time I’m in Boston!

I believe this is my first post here :+) Here is my first patch with this mini-system.

Minirigs. How good are they? Really considering getting a pair but unsure. I have a Boom and it sounds awful with my gear.

Ohh, I love my Minirig Mini

I’m constantly (pleasantly) surprised at the sheer volume it produces. I don’t know about frequency response (I’m not that technical) but I think there’s a goodly bump in the midrange - but then, they aren’t sold as studio standard, flat response and all that. (range is 70Hz to 16KHz according to https://minirigs.co.uk/speakers/bluetooth-minirig-mini ) - They’re more of a “throw it in your bag and go” kinda thing, I think.

But for a good, solid, all-rounder, it suits my needs perfectly - Lately I’ve had it plugged into my mixer but I also use it on my laptop, and mobile phone.

For the price (£100 which I think is a shade under $130), I don’t think you can go wrong, tbh!

Edit: Battery life is impressive, too :grinning:

Finally got round to making an enclosure for my circuitbenders.co.uk Phonic Taxidermist I built like a year ago, and having a proper play with it. Very weird ring mod/delay thing cloned from the old Maplin Voice Vandal kit, controls are all sorts of wrong (distortion knob goes from nearly-muting the input to very loud input to not so loud wet ringmod signal for example)… i added the suggested modification of a knob to control the delay sample rate so now there’s both a glitchy/timestretchy delay speed control and an ‘analog’ style pitch-bendy one which is a pretty great combination for my purposes

the trompe l’oeil crease in the sticker (actually the edge of the bath this weird fox is being bathed in!?) is going to bother me i can tell

nice, but made me think, I must dig out my voice vandal…

I’m very proud of these. the 73-75 and Wasp were my two biggest DIY projects.

Current eurorack. Really enjoying the TSNM, VIA ???, EvenVCO combo. Sounds gorgeous with reverb.
