@vhall the flight case is a Moog 84hp with a TipTop HEK (https://www.moogaudio.com/en/all/modular-synths/power-cases/multi-caisse-modular-case-84hp-3u) It’s available here locally in Canada. Really great rugged traveler and good for stacking. One nit-pick, the panel sits very vertical and it doesn’t fit most guitar stands to angle it.
@mutedial Thanks!!! the 73-75 was sitting in my backlog for a long time too. It’s a very daunting project to get started
@t3h the 73-75 isn’t a difficult build but it is not a beginner project either. Documentation from zthee is a bit sparse but you can fill in all the gaps from the CGS archive. It’s pretty tedious depending on how you put it together, there are two ways panel style and serge wire wrap. I mounted mine panel style, which means it’s soldered directly to the front-panel so you want to make sure the entire circuit is working perfectly before you mount it. I had to de-solder one panel which was a huge pain
There’s a little metal working involved too. The panel doesn’t fit a r*s boat, mine was mounted in two hammond boats (https://www.mouser.ca/ProductDetail/Hammond-Manufacturing/1444-1773?qs=KZicGfxjZ21IpJOSVDt0eQ%3D%3D) you have to mount the spring-reverb and power supply into the case and I joined both sides with bolts. More than happy to answer any DIY questions in the serge thread!
