caught between the impulses to 1) respond earnestly, and 2) crack a “body without organs” joke, my brain short-circuited.

Had planned to DIY exactly this but Tesseract beat me to it and sell it absurdly cheap so I just ordered one from them instead: https://tesseractmodular.com/eurorack-modules/low-coast

How did a 1987 album have a 25th anniversary in 2005?

Abigail is very polite! … when she wants to be. Sometimes she wants to down half a bottle of cheap whiskey and start a bar fight. But just ‘cause she prefers to play a little rough and tumble it doesn’t mean she isn’t pretty and feminine.

The boring answer to your question is that the cases aren’t set up to play separately. The real answer is that Abigail is whatever collection of cases and modules that is currently Abigail. The unified self is a lie.

Passeq** is a work of art just by itself, but I’m also impressed by the great aesthetic sense of your creation space as whole. No chairs? It only gets better

** are you using it as a master eq right? If not, just try it!

I have a thumb piano very similar to that!

It’s kalimba, I got it in Bali.

Funny, I got mine from a trader at a market in France.

Thanks,
having the “studio” on the floor works very well for me…i am used sitting cross-legged for many hours and somehow my mind and senses are much more in the moment…
Another plus on the floor is more space arround me.

Passeq is “end end of chain” FX…I “play” it sometimes like an instrument.

Putting this together this week, a string-and-rings music box. Palette is much more heavier than I thought, but solidly built, love it.

Never invite a gecho for breakfast - it’ll nick your croissant and drink your coffee!

Just picked up my new Gechologic Loopsynth v2 this morning and it looks an absolute monster - Mario (the maker) seems to have included pretty much all the v1 users’ wishlist requests.

Very pleasantly surprised to see one of the channels includes a couple of patches built around MI Clouds (MIDI controllable, too) - I’m still quietly working through the manual (yes, I’m one of those people!) but looking forward to digging deeper into it over the weekend.

never heard of this thing before, it looks awesome

Remixing sounds from a friend played from a USB stick on the Low Coast

also been playing around with the radio mode, nice anti-“musical instrument” feeling just listening to stations thru a filter or two while doing other stuff
