This is my Shared System, there are many like it but this one is mine.

So far I’m loving it. I feel really at home with it and I’m excited to dig deeper into MG and Erbe-Verb. Guess I’m going to play a show with it tonight, and I actually feel really good about it.

What is it that makes the walkman compatible? Does it have some kind of input for speed control or some easily accessible way of modding it?

It’s one of the few he mentions are suitable for the modification in the manual:

Zachteman is compatible with the following walkmans by Philips:

  • AQ6401 There is a walkman with the same serial number that is not compatible with the kit, it looks like this.
  • AQ6492
  • AQ6411 (untested but looks the same)

Intellijel stealth case. It only takes two new drill holes to move the 1u to the middle.

How did you drill the holes? Just a hand drill/metal bit? Im a bit nervous about trying this but interested in doing so.

The DIY part wasn’t too bad. The instructions are primarily text and it took me a bit to figure out some of the steps, but I did it in a couple of hours of casual work.

(that being said I still haven’t tested it…)

Thankfully it was fairly easy to find one of the walkmen too in the EU.
