So how do you use it? What do you record with it?

Field recording(has a built in mic), resampling from the opz/norns/zoia and playing back half speed. The regular stuffs

thanks, thought you were recording fates with this as well…

Well yes, but no final tracks, since I like my stereo-widening.

What is this thing? Looks amazing.

It’s the Knas Ekdahl Moisturizer - spring reverb with built in filter and LFO, the idea being you can ‘play’ it via the exposed springs as well as running stuff through it.
It sounds great, the filter is really good and you can switch the reverb pre or post filter (with the recommended mods).
I made some blistering noise riffs on an upcoming release by putting a magnet on the springs to excite them and modulating the filter with the LFO at quite high speeds.
It’s also got loads of I/O on the backside that come in handy.
And it makes my toast in the morning.

late night exploring. This is a good weird combo and all battery powered.

So cool - I’m starting to get a little obsessed with battery-powered systems; if nothing else, it makes for great back yard/sofa/bed playing options. I’m starting to get a little allergic to sitting at a desk to play (or at least play creatively).

Digitakt, Biscuit and cassette recorder are all connected via the mixer, for sampling and resampling duties.

Routings:

  • Digitakt :arrow_right:Oto Biscuit :arrow_right: Mixer input 1
  • Cassette recorder :arrow_right: Mixer input 2
  • Mixer output 1 :arrow_right: Digitakt
  • Mixer output 2 :arrow_right: Audio interface :arrow_right: Ableton

Now I just need one more cable in order to close the loop with:

  • Ableton :arrow_right: Audio interface :arrow_right: Cassette recorder

@rumorazzi nice setup. how do you like the raiden? I nearly ordered one, still interested.

I think that’s my old 42U with the Magneto and PL Entry Point. I miss that little box:)

Ha! Nice catch. That’s was yours.

It’s a well built little mixer, two outs and headphone cue are handy.
Nothing exceptional but it’s a useful hub in a simple setup like that.

Generative music with modular synth in VCV, controlled by iPad.

Audio-video version.
