I bought my daughter one of those for Christmas when she was 2.5… I paid about £15 (5 years ago) on eBay and it even came with the original case.

At £15 they make excellent presents, but you better be happy having to listen to the demo song endlessly…

(Incidentally, she got a ‘charity shop’ Dubreq Stylophone from a grandparent this Christmas, and I was very jealous…)

I owned one back when they were new, and only had it a couple of years but that demo song is permanently etched into my brain. Probably my parents’ brains too.

Also the demo song from the Yamaha SHS-10, but that was a cover of “Last Christmas” so there are yearly reminders of it.
