I’ve got a Tensor and a CT5. I’d say go tensor if you want a hi-fi tape machine, and CT5 if you want a lo-fi loop mangler/pitched delay.

Tensor can do more. Ct5 is more inspiring. Just my two cents!

Here’s a chain I like to use that makes use of the Tensor’s glitchy time stretching.

yea it’s great food for Tensor. Would you have link to the kind of vibration motor you use, I’m always looking for other ways of playing the Sidrax? I like rubbing stones on the surface of the barres too.

I’m getting to like it more with practice, the Touchosc app is pretty handy too with the presets. I’d def give it a thumbs up. The H9 in that setup is also using the looper so I go between the two, it’s offers a lots of potential for me.

How do you like the pitchfactor with synths? I’ve never owned a pitch shifter (other than clouds… but that’s not how I use it) but I’m thinking about picking up one.

I’d think of a PF as pitched delays, although you can pitch track from what I’ve read around a POG may be better. Like all these things it’s deep and you have to learn how to use it for what you need. Sidrax is great as you can get a simple clean tone as the source. PF is great too as a mono in stereo out.

Each black frame has a gear motor (quite slow) rotating the axis with the rosin pulleys.
