The old Terminal is such a great module! Tight function generators, pleasantly clipping opto filters, and the 12 bit delay. So strange that the “grand” terminal successor switched to dsp filters and dsp multi effects.

I use this as a texture synthesiser, FX unit and mixer (complete with nasty end-of-chain DC571 compressor). The fx and mixing mainly serve Blackbox and an UltraRollz Farm Detective. Almost guaranteed to entertain for hours on end.

BOSS RPS-10, one of the first pieces of noise gear I bought circa 2000 (from the weird “Buy & Sell” shop opposite the police station, who would grumpily refuse to buy or sell most things except for air rifles, knives and bongs. Definitely seemed like a front for something, crammed with amazing junk with 10-x-the-actual-value prices, which they would absolutely refuse to budge on)

Still one of my favorite and most used fx, I have two now and can’t remember if this is actually the original one or not come to think of it

These Boss half rack things all have a very weird pitch tracking control input too, it’s supposed to track a clean sine from a synth but makes crazy glitch from other inputs. I plan to modify those inputs (remove the switched jack connection and replace with a switch on the front panel) because I haven’t experimented with this enough

Getting back in the work zone after some noise issues and a ski trip. Some serious routing trade-offs in this little case, but my plan is to use this for some west coast shows this summer. If I’m not settled on this, it’s certainly dang close!

That’s a beautiful case. Is it one of those Needham cases, or did you make it? Or something else?

Damn this looks so intriguing to me! Would love to hear some samples of the sort of stuff you’ve been doing with this setup.

I can’t wait to hear that Toblerone! But you might have it plugged in wrong, mine always sound best on an aux bus.

It sounds pretty tough esp after it’s been in the fridge. Dangerous.

It’s a matter of taste, but it’s hard not to find a sweet spot, it breaks up in a pretty pleasing way, and works well to fatten things up.

After a whole lot of compulsory downsizing, I’m mostly down to these five Flower Electronics instruments:

-Two Little Boy Blue Standards
-Two Jealous Hearts
-One Mysterious Reactor/Noise Source built by a Flower employee that replicates the extra functionality of the impossible-to-find LBB Double

It’s good on its own but it tends to bind up everything I make.

This is a gorgeous setup. Would love to hear some sounds from it!
