The Victorian Synthesizer ?

I just googled it. I had no idea what you meant. It’s just feedback with a contact mic, a spring and a broken speaker unit, but I’m running the signal by the laptop as well to filter and process it and then back out to the speaker.

also, @mzero, this probably is not the place and time but huge thanks for developing and providing Elk-herd. It’s very useful for program management and sample management inside of the programs. It makes so much more sense compared with official Transfer app. It will probably allow me to get a second Digitakt and clone the content. When that happens, I will remind myself to send some thank-you currency to your direction.

Hopefully better late than never; here’s ~6 minutes of knob-turning with one LBB and both JH’s. The “world’s worst groove box” part that opens things up was a pretty hilarious surprise when I stumbled into it. Oh, and please pardon the reverb- I should’ve left the track dry, but oh well.

Currently focussed on building up a Lunetta/Synth hybrid modular and documenting the progress. Cases from recycled wine crates - perfect.

I’m getting to a point where I’m finding more inspiration in this than regular Eurorack as it slowly gets bigger.

My recent live rig (minus C-L Tetrax). I bought the Phonogene just a few years later than everyone else, and I’m glad I finally did! :sunglasses:

Nothing Monome in there yet, but going to DIY myself a Teletype soon, and maybe pick up a 2nd-hand Ansible, or Crow.

Today I went out to my local music store here in Nashville and bought a pedal. Good to have a new toy to play with during these stressful times! Also while the Space Spiral wasn’t something I particularly had my eye on this wasn’t exactly an impulse buy. I know these are going to very tough times for retailers of all kinds and I’d hate to see them go under so I figured I’d give them some support now.

Ambient / drone sound experiment with tapeloops on tapedeck, walkman, and processed to some effect pedals.

I’m really intrigued by the power module on the far left — is this a sort of bus for “outboard” cases? Was thinking of making something similar, but hey, if I can just pick it up somewhere…

Nothing projects nostalgia at me like the Realistic logo. R.I.P.

Yes that’s exactly what it is pretty handy!

forgive my ignorance here… what all is in this case (other than teletype)? does anything generate sound or is this a processing / cv monster for something else?

Ah, this is fantastic! Thank you!

Hi! those are the teletype expanders by @bpcmusic

The first two are the txi, which which you input knobs and jacks.

The next top are txo +, which can be waveform generators, lfos, triggers…

They really expand what you can already do, which is a lot, with teletype:
