Been focusing exclusively on this Serge boat for the past 8 months or so. Now he’s going in the cupboard for a little while so I can learn something new (and not get distracted), but he’ll be back soon I’m sure

All those small machines. I’ve decided to see what I can come up with if I use this as my starting point. Learning my gear. #depthyear

“Healthy Pad!” (and 20characters)

This is my main modular setup. It has an inviting fragrance. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Weird layout, but looks fun!

I probably would have put the peanut butter jar in a spot that was easier for Squirtle to reach.

Do you have some music that you are doing with this setup to share ? No sequencer, lot of sampler , I’m curious

Looks like it’s centered around processing input from outside the modular.

Heres the last thing I recorded out from this setup yesterday evening, made with some orca sequences being chopped up in Nebulae then put through a feedback loop between sisters and cold mac. I am usually running live stuff through it, sometimes using mics on objects, these last couple of days have got really into sequencing stuff in Ableton using orca and then putting that through it. Loads of sound on sound looping.

This is the music concrète instrument I’ve been planning for a year. Just from my first few patches, it’s everything I hoped it would be—super playable and a sound design monster. Going to use it with my field recordings and self-sampled ambient pieces.

My today show was cancelled but I will stream it (and another persons show) today at 8PM GMT+1
The good side of this whole situations is that I can play with some of my gear which is too brittle/heavy to transport and I can play with my dog
If anyone would like to give it a listen (but I must warn you both shows will be 100% improvised :D) they will be streaming here http://firmanty.com/radio

Nice setup. What is the small box with the single tube on next to your eurorack?

Thanks! It is stereo low pass filter/tube saturator from Bard Synthesizers. I think he only made one version of this, but he has stuff in eurorack which should be similar in character: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKgUlVRSAXU

I have just built this eurorack setup specifically for taking outside and interacting with the enviroment, not sure I will get to use it much in situ over the next few months under current circumstances but I am super excited about it
