For me, Marbles tends to be the start or core of a patch. That’s where the rhythms and melodies often originate—mostly because it’s so easy to get pleasing results, it has many sweet spots. Mimetic Sequent/Multium I tend to use unquantized and just as often for modulation as controlling a voice.
I have a lot of random and chaos modules, perhaps too many some people would say and be very wrong. I find that they’re always rewarding to simply plug into any open jack and see if it made things interesting. Just don’t forget to attenuate!
