Built a little bricolage 1w mixer/amp, using a pcb I got free with a MFOS order ages ago, nice speaker/plywood from the “D-Box” synth project I was a guineapig for (the actual synth to be reincarnated soon too! ), an old floorboard, and silicon insole offcuts as feet. Has a switched output jack so I can optionally use it as a head for another speaker/cab/piezo etc. Decently loud for a little 9v amp Stylistic influences: Ghost Dog, Tom Sachs.

Threw together a real quick format jumbler today. I hate drilling.

Do you have a drill press? A drill press with a unibit makes doing enclosures a snap.

Just a hand drill. It’s really not that bad…I complain too much. I have a stepped bit, but could probably use some nicer bits overall. I’ll stop complaining
Awesome! I’ve serviced quite a few Odysseys, pm me if you have any questions / want a general guide on where to start
I made this out of bamboo scrap, nails, a 2x4, and some monofilament. This is actually version 2. Improved volume!
I’ve been having some fun times with this Intellijel dominant system I put together. It has been especially fun with bastl thyme and a simple reverb. Sometimes I swap cold Mac and lets splosh if a feeling to do so is in the air. Sampling this with my digitakt or recording to cassette is also something I’ve been exploring.
What does that sound like?
poorly executed demo
Are they hollowed out at all?
Bamboo comes pre-hollowed. I could poke holes through the joints but I don’t think that would improve sound all that much.
Cool project. You’re halfway to an anklung.
The ever-evolving dream jam setup.
I’ve been doing weekly Twitch streams with this combination recently, getting to grips with the BugBrand.
really enjoyed watching your 4/25 stream back today but the denny’s mug really makes this set up :’) looking forward to catching one of your streams live/ on lines community stream !
