Hi! it’s 4 grids in euclidean mode, they can be all synced with the right settings. just share clock and reset signals. Grids is one of my favourite euro modules. I still prefer the original big ones, but this small ugrids are fun to play with

Fixed up my Spectrums with new keyboard membranes, ready for some 1bit noise. Also tweaked the colour trimmer pots in one of them since, as vaporwave as it looks, this isn’t really practical:

Latest layout of my Mantis case. Morph is at top left so’s I feel more inclined to use it as a “voice” rather than an effect. Same goes for my Rings clone. Then, in general, I have sound sources and sound modifiers at the top, sequencing and cv modulation on the bottom row.

The goal of this case is to focus on learning Morph, Maths and Rene, by making weird and perhaps occasionally beautiful noises that I capture and then use to fill up the Radio Music and 2X Pico drums, which I then use to make more weird noises.

** edit - - is that too much info for this thread? If so, happy to move it to the eurrack thread.

How/where did you get those silver panels for the Pico Drums?

Reverb, got a deal on them as a pair because the seller sandblasted the graphics off of them. One day soon I’m going to find a way to decorate them, and will post another pic.

Made a little base with built-in contact mic for my punch-tape musicbox. used a nice plastic enclosure from an old resistor substitution box

How are you liking the VCMC? That’s pretty much the only module I have any interest in these days… does everything work smoothly? Have you sent NRPN data with good results?

Nice! I have one of those punch-tape music boxes too but so far I’ve only stuck a Korg contact mic made for a tuner on mine, this seems like a much nicer solution

non native german speaker here. I read ‘Widerstand Box’ and wondered “why do germans call music boxes ‘resistance boxes’?” before reading your caption. Got a good laugh out of that.

Resistance boxes only play protest songs.

yeah, better still would be to make it clampable to the desk (I actually might just about be able to do it with this, haven’t tried) as otherwise you need to use both hands to play it, and of course would be good to have one free to twiddle knobs

Hi! I just got it, so have not explored most of it features, but it was something different. I know of plenty of midi to cv devices, but not the other way (yes i know the mxmxmx one) so i thought i would give it a shot. I like trying different setups, so sequencing midi gear with analog sequencers is a very interesting thing! Have not tried nrpns…anything you got in mind?

I’m definitely interested in how smooth slow LFO modulation translates via NRPN, if it behaves as smooth as the CV input (I’m sure this also depends on the thing being modulated).

Also, how easy is it to re-configuring the channels? The screen looks pretty small, is it hard to navigate?

A small setup centred around my “mannequins easel”

Dang, those look amazing. Imma send you my heartbeat less rollz five to fix

Super great! That’s a good pic for the tiny studio corner thread too. Where’d you get the tiny speakers?

They’re two Minirig 3s. Great battery life and solid sound, if a little bass heavy!

great setup. What is the name of the mixer/fader device? I could really use something like that.

That’s a 16n Faderbank
