Some cables are born out of love, some out of pure necessity. This one is for mirroring the mono signal to the two input channels of Elektron Heat v1. Short circuiting the two inputs is probably not great for proper gain staging, so not my greatest work… Also can be used for splitting one signal to two different fx chains.

Looks so clean! Do you have a patchbay in there? Or do you just always keep the Mixer routings the same?

Hey! I had one in there for a while when stuff wasn’t in one case and I pulled smaller cases out depending on what I was trying to do—it was helpful to switch up the routing in that context… But I figured with this setup I’m just keeping things on the same channels, and all my effects are on sends, so I don’t really need to switch things up. Maybe one day I’ll pull it back out and mess around. Your batumi is happy here! Thanks again.

Haha it was a lot of sputtering filter-ping fm sounds! I didn’t record anything but I want to revisit the patch at some point… I’ll try to remember to put it someplace listenable.
