Thanks man I appreciate that! I would be remiss not to give a nod to hypnosapien for introducing me to the magic of the grid many many years ago. I was just getting into electronic music back then and always dreamed of having what I now have. Love this stuff! Thanks Pat you’re the man!

A little messy, but this is the current set-up sans (heavily utilized) iPad, various physical instruments, random controllers, and a few effects.

If that’s messy you don’t wanna see mine ;). Love your rack setup.

I like that shelf, really nice economy of space!

Haha, it was just that there’s extraneous dongles and unplugged cables. My work desk is the much more legitimately messy one.

Thanks! I made it from quarter sawn ash with some walnut for accents. All hand tools. Same with the desk (which is all walnut).

What started out as a simple love affair with an MS-20 mini has turned into something a little more unruly. I’m certainly enjoying the ride though.

Aalto + 16n + Sensel Morph = my Buchla Easel-K

Curious how you’re using the 16n in this context…

Hey Ed!

I have it mapped to different Aalto and Ableton parameters. The first 4 faders are mapped to the usual ADSR, the next 4 take care of the timbral qualities of the sound (timbre, waveform, noise and ratio of modulator oscillator). The next 4 are mapped to delay+ filter (delay time, delay feedback, filter cutoff and filter resonance). The last 4 are mapped to Valhalla Supermassive wet control and Ableton’s own echo device.

Hope this is helpful enough ^^

Yes, thanks!

I am thinking about the Sensel buchla and already have a 16n… the other controller I have started to point at Aalto is a midi fighter twister, which I am working on controlling the sequencer with…

Not much to look at (my 2nd or 3rd DIY project if you couldn’t tell :joy:), but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.
