I haven’t tested total time yet but I ran it for about an hour and was still over 75% battery capacity.

Thanks for sharing this! I really dig this cart and always wished it had a flat top.

I can’t seem to find it on their webpage, so can’t give you the name. But at our local IKEA they have them stacked up next to the main RASKOG display section.

Hogsma? Maybe I think?

That’s the one!

Jeez, a cutting board is it? I guess that works.

What power cable do you use to connect battery to pallette? Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/IBERLS-Universal-Connector-Charging-Controller/dp/B07J6NQ1KN/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=usb+to+5v+dc+cable&qid=1600807930&sr=8-3 ?

On top, digdugdiy Scales, Faderfox SC-4, Akai XR-20. Something is very wrong with this euro case’s power supply but I don’t know what yet.

The Palette case is connected to the Omnicharge voltage selectable barrel output (16v). So I used this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016BJGZ2U?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details

And connected the USB modified Frapcase on the right to one of the USB outputs for power.

You gotta take a look at the M8, by Trash80. I got one of his early beta units and adore it. You should join the discord! Imagine a LSDJ, but with the braids engine, 8 tracks, a sample player and Midi out. All with tables!!!

The M8 looks awesome. Excited to learn more about this device. Can you elaborate on the sample aspect? Is it pretty much one-shots? Or are there slicing type abilities like the Polyend Tracker?

So, there is slicing but its an evenly distributed slicing deal. No adding personal and selective slice markers or anything. Load up a sample, in the parameter window, select the number of slices you’d like of it, and then enter in a note to head to that slice (starting at C0) there are potential plans to add additional things, but that might have to wait until later revisions of either the software or the hardware. One of the issues is that the teensy 4 bootloader isn’t done yet, so literally everything has to happen on the teensy, leaving some desired effects to be left on the table for the time being.

In the spirit of the thread, here is a few photos of my newest noise making devices!

My M8 tracker!

My octatrack!

My microcosm (that sits just ahead of input 2 on my Octatrack, meaning at any time I can record the insanity coming out)

my digitone,

peak

and @markeats, almost finished Midi Mixer!

So many new crazy toys to learn! So little time!

Here’s a little test I did sequencing my Digitone and Peak from my Tracker. The drums were placeholder, but its still fun!

All of these new devices came in a big sell off and trade out. got rid of some mannequins modules, the Polyend Tracker and OP-1. They weren’t jiving with me and swapping them out for these tools has given me endless joy!

It looks wonderful!!! Tho I will resist the GAS, still not even managed to learn LSDJ on gameboy, or actually finish the numerous Nanoloop tracks on GB and iOS I’ve started over the years

How is that macrocosm treating you? The demos all sound so wonderful but I often can’t tell what’s going on.

Archy is my boy, first synth friend I ever had; I love seeing DigDug stuff around.
How do you find yourself using Scales?
