How have you been liking/utilizing the 4ms resonator?

That one consistently intrigues me, but I’m always a little timid to invest that much rack real estate

Just installed it last night after trading modules (so i had exactly 26hp or whatever it needs)

i intend to use it as a companion to three sisters mainly but really havent tested the range of uses yet

should fit well with 6 i/o on just friends also

That’s definitely a module that immediately became more intriguing when Just Friends came out!

@glia, if you haven’t already you should give the beta firmware a spin, it’s great! It allows you to turn the 6 env outs into 1V/oct outputs.

Here’s Dan’s description from muffs, and a link to the firmware:

The way it works is that flipping the Fast | Slow switch to “Fast” turns the 6 ENV OUT jacks into 1V/oct outputs for each channel. Morphing does not have any effect, it just jumps from one note to next. For now, each one is tuned to the nearest semi-tone.

Also, they are starting work on an oscillator alt-firmware in October… :+1:

hey great tip

but the firmware uodate is a wav?!
i need to go read up how to load it properly

Yeah, similar to some of Mutable’s firmware updates. Instructions are near the end of the manual (here in case you don’t have it: http://www.4mspedals.com/SMR/manual/SMR-manual-103-withbanks.pdf) but essentially you play the wav into the odds IN.

I used a laptop to update mine and it worked flawlessly.

Testing DMX controlled light bulbs and my DIY (tiny!) footswitch for an upcoming video/performance.

Have had the DMX dimmer for a while but haven’t gotten around to using it yet. And throwing together a patch with all kinds of slick RGB feedback on the footswitch.
